Anti-social behaviour - fireworks

Dear residents,

The Ashton Hurst neighbourhood policing team are aware of a number of posts on social media community groups regarding two youths causing Anti-social behaviour with fireworks in the Ashton Hurst and surrounding wards.

We are looking into the issue, utilising partner agencies but we have noticed there seems to be a discrepancy between the posts that we see on social media compared to the actual amount of reported incidents/crimes.

We want to advise residents that reporting of these incidents is critical in helping us to tackle this issue.

We would also encourage that more people are supportive of assisting the Police when offenders are identified as without this support the Police and partner agencies find it very difficult to bring these offenders to justice.
